
Application Process
The Application for Public Library Operating and Pay Equity Grants is a tool designed to ensure that requirements under the Public Libraries Act are met; and to provide a method of accountability that will assist the Ministry in complying with the Province of Ontario’s Transfer Payment Accountability Directive (TPAD). The application and funding requirements outlined below are part of the Ontario government’s focus on maintaining a prudent and disciplined approach to spending. They strengthen accountability for the spending of taxpayer dollars and improve transparency in the Province’s financial reporting.
