- Ontario Public Library Guidelines - The Guidelines deal with a number of recommendations of the 1990 Ontario Public Library Strategic Plan.
- Ontario Public Library Week - OPLW takes place in the third week of October each year. Events take place at public libraries throughout the province.
- First Nations Public Library Week - Takes place in February each year.
