Helping our entertainment industries succeed

Ontario has an entertainment sector that is internationally admired for the quality of its films, books, magazines, music and video games. 

We've created a fund to help Ontario companies, trade associations and their partners work together to stand out in the global marketplace. The fund is called Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnership Fund.

Media content producers, their trade associations, academic institutions with programs directly involved in the industry, creator organizations and industry events can apply for the Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnership Fund.

The fund can help you move into new markets by supporting content development, innovative marketing and skills training. 

Examples of projects the fund can support include:

• the development of content that uses emerging interactive entertainment technologies
• partnerships with academic institutions to identify the impact of technology shifts on the entertainment industry
• joint partnerships to develop new products across creative sectors.

The deadline for the last round of applications was August 27, 2007. Information about the next round of applications will be posted as it becomes available.
