Increased support to our Cultural Industries
- The Ontario government has established the Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnerships Fund. The fund contributes $7.5 million to help companies create content, market and distribute their product and develop their skills.
- We have provided the Ontario Media Development Corporation with an additional $23 million over three years. Funding will be used to help Ontario's cultural industries market and promote their work, develop new products, export their work and assist in business development.
- We have enhanced provincial tax credits for Ontario's cultural industries, including a $48 million boost for film, television production and cultural industries that keeps Ontario competitive in the global entertainment market.
